As one of the handful of BME football clubs in Scotland, Glasgow ANSAR

The Scottish Asian Sports Association (SASA), now known as the Scottish
Ethnic Minority Sports Association, was established in 1990 to create
and provide culturally sensitive sporting opportunities to the Black and
Ethnic Minority (BME) communities in Glasgow.
